This is the message Stuart Broad gave to his young teammates, when he deliberately threw a cricket ball at Zulqarnain Haider who got his finger fractured. Zulqarnain Haider who was the top-scorer from Pakistan in the second innings of the second test against England in 2010 series, had to leave the whole series. Zulqarnain Haider's life hasn't been easy and he had to leave his father in extremely critical position medically to have a debut in international cricket. Yes it was his first test match!
And you know how did the ICC punish Broad for ruining this young man's career? They fined him! They fined him 50% of his match fee!! The culprit wasn't even fined 100% of his match fee, let alone banning him for the next 5 test matches and 15 ODIs or for good.
To the prisoners of English prisons:
You see there are better methods of getting your opponents injured than beating them. Next time you want to see someone lying on a hospital bed, injure him with a cricket ball and the police won't arrest you.
